POSITIONS OPEN!  (Each NBL division requires a Division Commissioner each season.)

Timeframe: October – March

Hours per week: 1-2 pre-season (Oct-Dec), as needed during season (Jan-Mar)

Responsibilities include:

• Coordinate with your Division Schedule Manager to build a fair, balanced, round-robin schedule for the teams in your division
• Participate in one mandatory pre-season NBL volunteers' meeting in November to coordinate the upcoming season
• Organize division meetings for coaches at your discretion
• Act as an impartial point person and coach role model for your division to:
  • Enforce the mission of the NBL
  • Promote fair play and adhere to PCA principles
  • Enforce rules of the league
  • Investigate and resolve disputes regarding behavior
• Set the standard for supporting ref calls and enforce zero tolerance for ref disrespect amongst players, coaches and parents
• Organize playoffs for your division with Division Schedule Manager
• Receive, prepare, and present trophies at Division Championship game
